John Boy Roberts

John Boy Roberts, started his circus career at the tender age of 3 as a clown assisting his father John Roberts in the ring with Skippy the Boxing Kangaroo. Since then he has graced the ring in many guises, including that of a clown, acrobat, plate spinner, juggler, and elephant presenter. Performances have take him all over Europe and Asia.

John boy's talents, extend beyond the circus ring however, and he is a trully multi-skilled all rounder, welding, carpentry, mechanics and paint spraying to name but a few oth those skills. If you visit the show at any time take a look around you, the chances are you are looking at, or sitting on a piece of his handywork.

In the past few years John Boy has been busy running the tent hire business A & J Big Top Hire which he co directs with his father John Roberts. However, he still maintains his interests in the family circus itself.

As a member of the New Generation of Robert Brothers, John Boy hopes to build on the successful family name of which he is very proud, and ensure that circus continues to be a valued form of entertainment in today's society.
